Dos and Don’ts
——————–
Not just hands, one must wash legs and face before approaching food intake!
No laziness here! If you come from outside, you must bath, wait for some 30 mins before eating anything!
The plate must be kept on the floor
Plate in hand is discomfort and stress that body has to focus on muscles while its whole focus should be in stomach!
Best if the floor is painted by Gobar (Cow dung). If not, at least rough surface.
Sit Eastward or towards sun during meal (evening meal towards west!)
It must be sitting position – Sukhasana, easy pose, a simple cross-legged sitting asana
No chair-table
Must use washed, clean cloth as Asana cloth
Never without Asana
Legs must touch to the floor. Grounding is must!
Let someone serve the food!
You don’t self-serve the food

Sukhasana Meal Position Benefits?
———————————
Increases blood circulation
Grounding on floor improves Vagus nerve stimulation – aids digestion process (अग्नि दीपन)
Relaxes the mind and body
Plate is at lower place than normal, triggering of the abdominal muscles, which increases the secretion of stomach acids and allows food to digest faster.
