Software program is useless without hardware. Viral material is useless without host.
You only allow unknown strangers to use your home resources when you lack the sense (Mentally retarded) , or afraid of the strangers (Fearful). Same way, cells act too.
Viruses are not living organisms, but biological programs encoded in ribonucleic acid (RNA) or deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).
They come to life when they enter a living cell and hijack the protein production systems. Viruses use the cell’s machinery to copy their DNA or RNA (in the case of SARS-CoV2, it’s RNA) and to produce the proteins they need to make copies of themselves.
Please note here: We are living in sea of viruses and bacteria. We can try all ways like distancing and mask to avoid them but still, it is not that simple to avoid them.
What matters most for infection risk is – will body allow or not the foreign material to replicate self using cellular resources.
Our body’s cells contain around 42 million protein molecules. Protein production is a complex, multi-step process within the cell. Like products on a factory assembly-line, all proteins pass through ‘quality control’ check points where they are inspected before they are transported to their destination, to carry out their functions.
The viral proteins produced in an infected cell undergo this process of quality check. Researchers now working on finding therapy for this pathway [1]

Respiratory viruses , chest infection has connection with mental stress, trauma. (One of my friends, chest surgeon, admitted this based on his 20 years experience. Most of his chest infection patients have mental trauma as history).
Be it emotional stress or nutritional stress – viral conditions manifest only when our cells’ quality check process is not working as expected. When quality check fails completely, protein is discarded but when it passes the foreign protein generated by cell as false-positive, we see viral replication.
What Ayurveda does is : It works on restoring cellular intelligence so that no foreign particle is allowed to self-replicate. It also makes sure to purge such foreign viral load out of body as early as possible.
