~~~!!મારકણી ગાય!!!~~~~
“પપ્પા..એક નવો પ્રશ્ન..”
“હા હા ..ચોક્કસ…બોલો આજે શું પ્રશ્ન છે?”
“બધી ગાય મારકણી નથી હોતી. અમુક ગાય હોય છે. એના બચ્ચા પણ હોય છે..”
“સાચી વાત છે.”
“હવે મને એવું લાગે છે કે ગાય ના રંગ અને ગુસ્સામાં સંબંધ છે.”
“એટલે?”
“કાળી ગાય અને કાબરી ગાય ગુસ્સો કરે જ છે! સફેદ ગાય હંમેશા શાંતજ હોય છે!”

🙂 ખુબ સુંદર અવલોકન બેટા..પણ ગાયના સ્વભાવમાં બીજા ઘણા પરિબળો કામ કરે છે. રંગ કરતા , અનો વંશ, એના માતા-પિતાનો સ્વભાવ અને કેવા વાતાવરણમાં ઉછરે છે..એ બધું નક્કી કરે કે ગાય ગુસ્સાવાળી છે કે નહિ.”
“પણ ગાયને ગુસ્સો સારો ના લાગે.”
“બેટા સ્વભાવગત લક્ષણ આપણને જીવનને જીવવામાં મદદરૂપ થાય છે. જો બળદને જુસ્સાવાળો ના બનાવાય તો , વંશવેલો નબળો થતો જાય છે. આપણે ત્યાંતો એના માટે રમત-ઉત્સવ પણ છે..jalikattu! ગુસ્સો અને જુસ્સો – એક હદ સુધી જરૂરી છે. જેને તું મારકણી ગાય કહે છે..એ પણ એના ગોવાળીયાને તો પ્રેમ કરે જ છે! એના વાછરડાને ચાટેજ છે ને!”
“એ વાત સાચી પપ્પા..મેં પણ જોયું જ છે!”
“New question, pappa!”
“🙂 Sure! What is your question of the day?”
“Not all cows are aggressive but some of them are! Even their calves are aggressive!”
“That is true.”
“I feel, there is something to do with color of cow!”
“Like?”
“Black or mixed color cows are always more angry!”
“Very good observation beta! But that is not the only parameter. Several factors play role in deciding any animal’s nature. Breed of the cow, nature of calf’s mother-father and where and how calves are raised! All of these decide it!”
“But pappa, anger is not good na!”
“See dear son, nothing is right or wrong. It is all situational. Certain natural instincts are necessary to sustain our genes and traits received in legacy. Same is the case of cows! Bulls needed to be aggressive. It protects their genes and traits. We even have festival for it! Jalikattu! Aggression is needed. Didn’t you observe that even aggressive cow love its caretaker and calves?”
“Yes, that is true pappa, I have observed it too!”
He gave me an opportunity and I made sure, he doesn’t live with false notion of अहिंसा!
