#circadianthursday #prachodayathealth
In first chapter of this series, we discussed general ways to sync inner rhythms (circadian clocks) with outer rhythms (पिंड-ब्रह्मांड ऋत तादात्म्य).
Today, we will see, what if we ignore the पिंड-ब्रह्मांड ऋत तादात्म्य?
To begin with, a conversation that I often encounter when I talk about this topic.
> Researcher: “Humans are not evolved for night shifts, nighttime lights and intercontinental travel.”
Me: “Sandhya ritual and Surya Namaskar help to cope up with stress generated due to circadian disruption.”
My friends: “You are fanatic. You are bigot!”
Me: “LED is like bomb.”
My friends: “You are idiot! Anti-national! Where is your electronic degree?”
Highly evolved circadian lifestyle is God gift for us. Insult it only to invite the rage! Rage that even God doesn’t wish us to suffer from!
My words may taste bitter but this the reality. If life-routine is not set, sleep is not steady, body is not in rhythm, not sync with sun and moon cycles, we are making costly intellectual errors. Ambitious, lazy or even someone aligned to dharma – all succumb when they don’t obey the rules of nature (ऋत).

First and foremost thing to keep in mind.
## ***Highly evolved circadian lifestyle is God gift for us. Insult it only to invite the rage.***
*Everything important is not measurable and everything measurable is not important. Stop being solely day-dreamer or reductionist.*
Here is what modern research speaks about पिंड-ब्रह्मांड ऋत तादात्म्य:
# A clash between modern lifestyles and circadian rhythms can lead to the development of obesity and breast cancer, USC scientist says
***“Epidemiological studies are consistently revealing more and more connection between modern lifestyles and our internal biological clock, and when those two clash, it can lead to development of diseases such as obesity and breast cancer,” said [Steve Kay](https://michelson.usc.edu/steve-kay-ph-d/), director of convergent biosciences and Provost Professor of Neurology, Biomedical Engineering and Biological Sciences at the [USC Michelson Center for Convergent Biosciences](https://michelson.usc.edu/). “This study goes beyond the epidemiology to explore the mechanisms of circadian disruption as a risk factor for certain diseases.”***
