Don’t make Lockdown counter-productive for your health!

Corona

I was researching little further and started worrying about lock-down induced sickness risks. If we don’t take this period positively and perform certain mandatory things as ritual, without fail, it can act against our physical and mental health.

Take for example this:

  1. We become sedentary (Lack of exercise, addictive use of TV\Mobile\Gadgets) : when our muscles don’t move much, it broadcast pro-Inflmmatory cytokines storm in blood stream. This increases our risk of infection! So? Don’t be couch potato during lock-down!
  2. Processed Food (Noodles, Biscuits, Soup, Ready to eat) = More toxins to stir the immune system
  3. Psychological fatigue and unnecessary panic = More cortisol hormone in the blood and so imbalance of DHEAS hormone and Cortisol hormone -> Higher Infection risk
  4. Lack of sun-exposure – Deficiency of Vitamin D = Psychological fatigue = Higher Infection risk
  5. Prolonged artificial light at night due to addictive TV watching = inhibition of melatonin in body = Reduced DEEP sleep = More fatigue next day = more infection risk
  6. Overuse of alcohol based sanitizes and mouthwash = acidic skin = higher infection risk
    ——————-
To avoid all of these possibilities, try to take care of following things in daily schedule during lockdown. In fact, some of them should be daily habits, irrespective of there is lockdown or not!
