Personally, I am not against herbalism or folk medicines. Mother nature is kind enough to give hints to all of us, irrespective of our IQ and EQ , to come out of sick conditions and perform our duties well.(Provided we are suprasensitive to mother’s hints!)
Even other animals have the same sense of restoring the health by one or another ways. In past, I shared here that, after Snake-Mongoose fight, how mongoose will go and eat some plant leaves and again come back for fight! (Read here : https://prachodayat.in/secret-signs-of-nature-and-suprasensitive-senses/ )
However, Ayurveda is not herbalism or folk medicines. So, if someone is selling or taking herbal medicines, it is not good idea to call it ‘Ayurveda’!
Ayurveda is Sastra. Sastra means, the text who rules the human intellect and actions. You may spend time and life to validate Sastra claims – that is perfectly fine. And I am sure, when you study Ayurveda as Sastra, digest the knowledge, sharpen your clinical observations as prescribed and suggested by Sastra, success in cure is certain.
Think about it.
