Few days back, I shared note on multiple sclerosis. As per modern science, it is neurological disorder. As per Ayurveda, I categorize it as वातजन्य disorder.

Due to our lifestyle, many of us are suffering extreme Vata prakop very early in life (It general comes in old age).

As per Ayurveda, medicine is last resort. Just adjusting food, life routine is enough in most of the cases.

Exact treatment is actually based on individual prakriti but here are some general guidelines. Adjust as per your nature.

Goal: वातहर (Balance Vata by reducing Vata Prakop)

In this series of posts, I would share food that one should eat.

(Experts can correct me if I am wrong)

Include following in diet

जुवार
अजवाइन
तुलसी
फुदिना
नारियेलका तेल
देसी गायका दूध
सेंधा नमक
लहसुन

STOP this

1) Remove coffee from the diet
2) If you drink colas or soft drinks (sweat carbonated beverages) stop them all immediately.
3) Stop smoking cigarettes.
4) Avoid eating between meals. Avoid sweets and chocolate.

Do light exercise and stretching daily.

Increase regularity in your life. Develop habitual schedules for eating, sleeping and work.
