One of the worst affected areas by myth of Globalization and Development are Urbanized villages near major urban centers. Their fertile land is grabbed in name of development. Money received as compensation is hijacked by youth of the village. It is breeding ground for next generation of urban mafias and perhaps politicians. Neo-rich farmer boys with new money-power, bulldozing village culture and economy and replacing it with urban addictions i.e. car, alcohol, guns, black money and all.
It is difficult to live in a village near urban center when the village is not like Gokul. Gokul had awakened citizens, warrior youth and a selfless leader so they could sustain against Kamsa’ mathura. Not all villages can do. Either you produce Army like 300 and leader like Krushn or perish. There are no more choices.
