Every onset of winter in North India see smog for almost every year in last decade. And the blame goes to Diwali! Second blame goes to Agricultural crop residual burning in Punjab and Haryana. And by the time we cry for it, smog subsides and we continue with our daily routine.

No one really is bothered about industrial waste pollution! Continuous illegal burning of industrial waste!

Manusmriti prescribes in chapter 4: “Do not throw any sort of impurities in the fire.”

Can #CleanIndia possible with illegal burning of industrial waste/urban waste? Will PMO India take strict legal action against all those industries as a part of #cleanIndia mission? I doubt. If they do, my tons of best wishes and support for them.

During winter, many of us will share the suffocating air due to burning of Tyre and plastic in vicinity to avoid extreme cold. It is important to stop this nonsense as a part of vision of #CleanIndia.

Many municipal workers set fire on dustbins to avoid collecting them. All sort of chemicals, plastics and rubber get burnt in it. Can we stop it?

#CleanIndia does not only mean cleaning the places with broom and uploading selfie. What about claiming right of having fresh air by cleaning air pollution caused by illegal burning of waste?
