अतुल्य संस्कृत, अमर संस्कृति – १

शुभ प्रभात मित्रो,

We are starting yet another tryst with वाक् आधार, भाषा संस्कृत. In this series, we will understand, revere and try to revive roots of our संस्कृति, protected in देव भाषा संस्कृत.

It is also one more effort to learn Sanskrit but in informal way. Let the glorious past’s hints guide us. May Ganesha Deva & Maa Saraswati bless us!

In praise of Mathematics:

यथा शिखा मयूराणां , नागानां मणयो यथा ।

तद् वेदांगशास्त्राणां , गणितं मूर्ध्नि वर्तते ॥
जैसे मोरों में शिखा और नागों में मणि का स्थान सबसे उपर है, वैसे ही सभी वेदांग और शास्त्रों मे गणित का स्थान सबसे उपर है ।

 

Like the crest of the peacock, like the gem on the head of
a snake, so is mathematics at the head of all knowledge based on Veda
